Ceramic honey dipper jar with dipper stick and bee, stoneware pottery honey pot
This ceramic honey pot is wheel thrown stoneware clay. Thrown with a gracefully curved body to a flared rim, a well defined foot ring completes the bottom. I threw the lid at the same time with a pulled knob. There is also a notch cut out for the stick. After the body was stiff, I pressed the side with a seed pod that looks like honey comb. One little bee was stamped onto a ball of clay and attached to watch over the honey. Glazed in a shiny, rosy tan with creamy brown on the neck and lid. About 5.5" tall with the lid and 4" wide. The opening is 3.25" It will hold about 12 oz.
Non toxic glaze is food safe and dishwasher/microwave safe. This cute jar is just what you need to keep your honey out on the counter or table. Great for morning biscuits or by the tea pot for tea and honey. Set includes the jar with lid and dipper stick.
